Hearing the Sounds of Disc Golf

Lance putts amid the beautiful outdoors.

The best part of shooting disc golf photos is that it’s an outdoor sport. There’s beauty all around, as you can see in these pix of a recent handicap mini tournament southwest of Houston.

Eric the pro drops in a putt.

However, when I show my disc golf photos, one essential element is missing: Sound.

Matt lasers in a putt.

The lovely “whoosh” of the disc flying through the air (although it really is a scary noise when it’s coming right at you, as I well know).

ERic cans an easy one.

And the wonderful “chinging” of the chains as the disc nestles in the basket.

My younger son flies in his putt.

Guess I need to add sound effects to this blog post!
