Returning Home . . . to More Disc Golf

My younger son and I stand together (I’m on the left, by the way).

After an entire week of a relatively less-cluttered house, my younger son returned from his Two and Three-Quarters Men and a Baby trip this past Tuesday afternoon with a big smile on his handsome face. He was so relieved to be home after being in Papa Patrick’s car for 10 hours as they drove from Birmingham!

So what did my baby do after a week of travel and playing disc golf in Alabama, Georgia, and North Carolina?

Easy putt

He put down his bulging-with-dirty-laundry bag in the living room, along with some other souvenirs, and went with the Mister to—what else?—throw frisbees into metal baskets.

Hello, birdie!

After all, if this is Tuesday in the late spring, summer, and early fall, then the Southwest Handicap Mini tournament is being played somewhere close by. This time it was at the park closest to our house.

Yet another birdie putt for the kid, as Cory and Casey watch (and Adam walks away)

I think my #2 son enjoyed being back among friends, playing the sport they all love. After the 18 holes were done, he had tied for the third-best score and won $11 (well, actually $4 when the entry fee was taken out).

Welcome home, big guy! I’m so glad you’re back!!

  1. I love the shadow pictures. I am glad your ‘baby’ is home safe and sound.
