This young alligator was in the drainage ditch that runs along our community’s walking path (down a steep bank). I used a 300mm lens and cropped for a closer look.
Won’t they get rid of that awful thing? Are these common in Texas?
They will if it’s menacing. Gators aren’t uncommon in Texas, unfortunately. More roaches, though . . . unfortunately.
Awesome! I’ve never seen a wild gator in person, but I sure would like to some time. With a long lens.
