This is what winter looks like in the chilly Houston area today.
Our usually mild temperatures dropped from a high yesterday of 81 (very muggy for my morning jog) to a bone-chilling, gusty 39 degrees this morning.
It’s downright cold and gloomy.
But at least the bald cypress trees in our neighboring master-planned community have punches of color among the overwhelming green. Never thought I’d be thankful for brown!
